Getting started

Tap the street to walk; drag to look around. Tap a shop's badge to walk to its counter. Bashir at the chai dhaba shows you around. The notebook (top right) has today's tasks, your life goals and your postcards.

Earning rupees

Help Bashir with chai deliveries, ask Rafiq for work at his store, or later work at the cloth shop in Anarkali, the karahi house on Food Street, the bank or the Tech Park on Mall Road. At level 3 you can buy your own chai khokha in the lane.

Moving around Lahore

Walk to the signposts at the end of a street to go on to the next place, or open the map.

Playing on another device

Settings → Play on another device → Get a backup code. On the other device, tap "I have a backup code" on the title screen. Keep the code private.

Staying safe

Choose who sees you: Open, Friends only, or Peaceful (Settings or the people button). Block or report anyone from their name tag. Read the community rules.

Parents

The game is for ages 13 and up. There is no free-text chat with strangers: chat is preset phrases, and "Peaceful" mode hides other players' names and chat. There is no real-money shop yet; if one is added, purchases will have clear limits for under-18 accounts.

Credits

People are built from MakeHuman (CC0) on the skeleton layout of Quaternius' Universal Animation Library (CC0). Some movements (drinking, eating, waving) come from motion capture: the data used in this project was obtained from mocap.cs.cmu.edu. The database was created with funding from NSF EIA-0196217.

Fonts: Rozha One, Figtree, Gulzar, Kalam and Marhey (SIL Open Font License 1.1, via Google Fonts and Fontsource).
